Weekly Buzz #12

Busy week at BlockBee. New stablecoin support, a significant security release for the Odoo plugin, and a round of fixes across the platform. Here is everything that shipped.

MetaMask USD (mUSD) is now live

BlockBee now supports MetaMask USD, the first wallet-native stablecoin. Issued by Bridge (a Stripe company) and minted through the decentralised M0 protocol, mUSD launched under the regulatory framework of the U.S. GENIUS Act, making it one of the first stablecoins issued in compliance with the new federal legislation.

You can accept mUSD on Ethereum and Linea today, with the same non-custodial settlement as every other asset on BlockBee. Funds go straight to your wallet.

If you are already accepting stablecoins through BlockBee, there is nothing to configure. Enable it from your Dashboard and you are done. If you are integrating through the API, the tickers are erc20/musd and linea/musd.

Odoo plugin v1.4.0

A substantial security and reliability release. What changed:

• Signed webhooks. Callbacks are signed, transaction-bound, and verified against BlockBee's current public key, on direct and reverse-proxy setups alike.
• Strict validation. Each checkout is bound to its exact transaction, provider, company and payment ID, with amount and currency checked before confirmation.
• Safe under concurrency. Checkout creation and callbacks are serialised, so duplicate callbacks cannot corrupt state.
• Native Odoo flow. Payments, orders, accounting and reconciliation run through Odoo's standard processing.
• Hardened credentials. Keys sent in headers, secrets redacted from logs, API key field masked, and credentials wiped on database neutralisation.

Running BlockBee on Odoo? Update to v1.4.0. The webhook and validation changes close real gaps in how payments were confirmed.

Fixes across the platform

We also deployed a round of fixes to the Dashboard, Checkout and several other plugins this week. Nothing that changes how you work, just fewer rough edges and better reliability across the board.
