BlockBee Adds Support for MetaMask USD (mUSD) on Ethereum

MetaMask has announced MetaMask USD (mUSD), a U.S. dollar-backed stablecoin issued directly within the MetaMask ecosystem. mUSD is available on Ethereum and is designed to provide seamless access to payments, swaps, bridging, and future spending through the MetaMask Card.

Issued by Bridge, a Stripe company, and minted through the decentralized M0 protocol, mUSD is fully backed and launched under the regulatory framework of the U.S. GENIUS Act. This makes it one of the first stablecoins issued in compliance with new federal legislation in the United States.

Getting Started

To enable mUSD payments, log in to your BlockBee Dashboard and activate support for MetaMask USD (mUSD) on Ethereum and Linea. No additional configuration is required if you are already accepting other stablecoins through BlockBee.
